Commerce tutoring that sets up strong senior subject choices.

Practical, real-world application of legal, financial and business concepts, and a natural lead-in to HSC Business Studies, Legal Studies and Economics.

Who this is for

Students building the base for HSC Business, Legal and Economics electives.

Commerce introduces many of the concepts that reappear, in more depth, across Business Studies, Legal Studies and Economics in Years 11–12. Getting a solid grip on it early makes those senior subjects considerably easier to pick up.

Sessions work for Year 9 and 10 students across all Commerce topics, with a focus on applying concepts to realistic scenarios rather than memorising definitions.

Year 9

Core consumer, financial, legal and business concepts, applied to everyday scenarios.

Year 10

Employment, enterprising and global economy topics, with an eye toward senior subject selection.

Assessment & exam preparation

Sessions are built around your specific school's assessment schedule, with feedback before submission and revision ahead of tests.

  • Applying concepts to case studies and real-world scenarios
  • Feedback on assignments and reports before submission
  • Revision and practice ahead of topic tests

Why tutoring helps in this subject specifically

Commerce rewards students who can connect a concept to a practical scenario, a skill that also happens to set up Business Studies, Legal Studies and Economics extremely well for Year 11 and 12.
