From foundational number and algebra skills through to senior maths courses, with a focus on identifying exactly where a student's understanding breaks down and fixing it, rather than just working through more questions.
Maths difficulties usually trace back to a specific gap earlier in the course, a concept that was never quite solid. Sessions start by finding exactly where that gap is, rather than assuming more repetition will fix it.
Sessions work for students from Year 7 building number, algebra and geometry foundations through to Year 12 students preparing for senior exams.
Number, algebra, geometry and statistics foundations, forming the base every senior maths course builds on.
Senior course content and exam technique, with past-paper practice under timed conditions.
Foundational skills that underpin every later topic, and often the true source of a struggling student's gap.
Spatial reasoning and geometric problem-solving, built up methodically.
Data interpretation and probability reasoning, with real exam-style questions.
Whichever senior maths course a student is enrolled in, covered to the depth their assessments require.
Structuring working clearly and avoiding the small errors that cost marks under exam pressure.
Timed past-paper practice and review of common mistakes before assessments.
Sessions are built around your specific school's assessment schedule and past papers, plus general exam preparation as the year progresses.
Mathematics is cumulative, so a small unresolved gap early on compounds into much larger difficulty later. Identifying and closing that gap directly is usually far more effective than general extra practice.
